Register early. Don't leave your registration to the last moments of the auction as you may be disappointed; the system requires enough time receive your registration and validate your e-mail address before you can bid.

Click on the "Register" button (top right of corner of the screen) and enter the appropriate information.

Please fill in all required fields. (A credit card is not required to register.)

You must have a valid e-mail address, as we will email you a registration letter, which you will have to open and click on the link enclosed to activate your account.

If two people in the same household both want to bid separately on auction items, they must register separately with two different e-mail addresses. Each person can register only once with the same email address. You cannot register twice (different usernames) using the same e-mail address.

Once you have registered and received the registration letter to activate your account, you can begin bidding.

How do I find items that I might like to bid on?

There are two methods to find items. You can browse through the auction categories to see if there are any items of interest to you, or you can enter a keyword in the "Search" section on the site.

How do I bid?

Click on the item you want to bid on and follow the on-screen directions. Please note that by placing a bid you are making a contract between you and the seller (Pattison Media Ltd.). Once you place a bid, you may not retract it.

Can I retract a bid once it has been placed?

No, please bid carefullyYou cannot retract a bid once it is placed. Please note that by placing a bid you are making a contract between you and the seller (Pattison Media Ltd.).

Hey, I bid on an item and now it's not available. What happened?

Sometimes items must be pulled from ckpgauction.net early due to circumstances beyond our control. If this does occur, all bidders on that item will be notified.

Minimum Bid Increments:

Minimum Bid increments are as follows:
Current bid from $1 to $100 - $2 bid increment
Current bid from $101-$300 - $5 bid increment
Current bid from $301-$500 - $10 bid increment
Current bid from $501-$750 - $15 bid increment
Current bid from $751-$1000 - $20 bid increment
Current bid $1001 or above - $25 bid increment

What is the Five-Minute Rule?

Items in the auction will remain open until bidding has stopped for five minutes, even if time has expired on the item. Remember to keep refreshing the web page if you are bidding on an item, even if it has passed its expiry time. If you do not refresh the page, you may not see that a new bid has replaced yours. Items will close only after no bids have been received for five minutes after time has expired on the item.

The Master List and dispute resolution:

In the event of any discrepancy, CKPG AuctionNet’s Master List shall prevail. Winning bidders will be notified by e-mail at the close of each auction item; any errors or omissions in the winners' postings are subject to the final winning bidders' Master List.

Maximum Bid Feature:

AuctionNet! has a Maximum Bid feature included in the auction that allows you to bid on an item, and also include a maximum bid for the item. This maximum bid will automatically place bids at the minimum bid increment (increments range from $2 to $25 depending on the bid value of the item) on the item should anyone outbid you in the future, up until you reach your maximum bid. For example, if you bid $100 on an item, and place a maximum bid of $175, if someone outbids your $100 bid by bidding $110 on the item, an automatic bid of $115 will be placed on that item on your behalf. Should you be outbid again, an auto bid will be placed on your behalf until you reach your maximum bid. PLEASE NOTE: Your maximum bid MUST meet the bid increment criteria to be placed. Example: Your max bid on an item is $202 and another bidder bids $200. In this case, your max bid will NOT be placed as it does not meet the minimum bid criteria of $5. It is always in your best interest to monitor your bids on the items you desire to win.

My Watch List

You can create a list of items you would like to buy or are interested in. All the items in the auction have a link to the "My Watch List". As you are browsing, you can add the items you are interested into your watch list by clicking on the star on the picture. This makes it easier to track your favorite items.

What if I am the successful bidder on an item, what next?
